What factors will affect the dispensing quality?

Product dispensing process defects are: the size of the glue spot is not qualified, drawing, glue dip dyeing, curing strength is not easy to fall off and so on. To solve these problems, we should know that the dispenser in the dispensing quality affected by those factors, the following summarizes seven points, together to understand it.

1. Size of dispensing amount

According to the working experience, the size of glue spot diameter should be half of the product spacing. This will ensure that there is enough glue to bond the components and avoid excessive glue. The amount of dispensing depends on the time. In practice, the dispensing time should be selected according to the production conditions (room temperature, glue viscosity, etc.).

2. Dispensing pressure

The dispensing equipment provides a certain pressure to the syringe (glue gun) to ensure the glue supply. The pressure determines the glue supply amount and the glue outflow speed. If the pressure is too high, the glue will overflow and the glue quantity will be too much; if the pressure is too small, the intermittent phenomenon and leakage will appear, which will lead to product defects.

3. Needle size

In practice, the inner diameter of the needle should be about 1 / 2 of the diameter of the dispensing point. During the dispensing process, the dispensing needle should be selected according to the product size. Different needles should be selected for products with great difference in size, which can not only ensure the quality of glue spots, but also improve the production efficiency.

4. Distance between needle and working face

Different automatic dispensing machines use different needles, and some needles have a certain degree of stop. The distance between the needle and the working face should be calibrated before each work, i.e. z-axis height calibration.

5. Viscosity of glue

The viscosity of glue directly affects the quality of dispensing. If the viscosity is high, the glue point will become smaller, even drawing; if the viscosity is small, the glue point will become larger, and then the product may be dyed. In the process of dispensing, the glue with different viscosity should be selected with reasonable pressure and dispensing speed.

6. Glue temperature

Generally, the epoxy resin glue should be stored in the refrigerator at 0 ~ 5 ℃, and it should be taken out half an hour in advance to make the glue temperature consistent with the working environment.

7. Curing temperature curve

For the curing of glue, the general manufacturer has given the temperature curve. In practice, higher temperature should be used as far as possible to solidify the glue so that it has enough strength after curing.

8. Bubbles

There must be no bubbles in the glue. A small bubble will cause a lot of products without glue; every time the rubber hose of dispenser is replaced midway, the air at the joint should be emptied to prevent empty hitting.
